Our Story
It all started in February 2024, during ‘Incident’ at NITK. Four friends — Ankit, Sutirth, Himanshu, and Hrishab — were tired of seeing overpriced campus merchandise. So, instead of complaining, we decided to create something better. We pooled in ₹25,000 each, bought our first batch of tees, and set up a small stall under a name that carried a part of all of us — HASH (from our initials).
That tiny stall changed everything. Students loved what we made — simple, affordable, and full of campus spirit. Within just five days, 300 more T-shirts were gone through a single Google Form. The excitement around HASH grew faster than we ever imagined.
2025 was a defining year. HASH became the official merchandise partner for “Incident,” sponsoring ₹1 lakh and signing our first-ever MOU. We sold over 1,100 pieces that fest, generating around ₹5 lakhs in revenue — a proud moment that turned our dream into something real and lasting.
As HASH grew, so did our team. What began with four friends is now a 30-member family, united by one goal: to make quality, creative, student-centered merchandise. But HASH isn’t just a brand — it’s a movement. It’s about students building something for students, about turning ideas into reality and campus life into culture.
Soon, we expanded beyond NITK, reaching campuses in Bangalore and BITS, collaborating with students who shared our energy. From a single stall to becoming the face of college merchandise, our journey has just begun. The vision is clear — to take HASH beyond NITK and build a nationwide, student-friendly merchandise ecosystem.
